Read Your Own Comments Before Clicking “Post”

The XKCD web comic highlights a problem we’ve probably all noticed — and perpetuated — in comments we add to sites like YouTube, Facebook, or even on newspaper articles and blogs. This is kind of a wakeup call we should all pay attention to:

I found this comic through the Learn Your Damn Homophones site. This is similar to the Oatmeal’s Ten Words You Need to Stop Misspelling page I linked to a few posts ago. Except with much, much stronger language. So you’ve been warned. 🙂
